How About A Shower Instead Of A Bath?
In the hot, summer months, my baby, Sam, gets hosed down, lathered up and rinsed off. No problems. When I try to give that same dog a bath in the tub, it becomes a nightmare. He tries to jump out, won’t keep still and shakes and whines. Not to mention how wet I become!
A great solution that I’ve found is to give him a shower instead.
- He’s standing on solid ground, so the fear is gone.
- Using my handy dandy, handheld shower massager really makes rinsing easy. If you don’t have a shower massager, no worries. Rinsing is still a breeze.
- Dry him off in the shower, too! When he shakes the water from his coat, it’s not going on the floor.
