Puppy Teething

Puppy Teething

It takes about 8 months for your puppy to get his adult teeth.  While the transformation is happening, he will feel the need to chew.

To soothe his sore, hot gums try one or all of these simple remedies:

  • Soak a knotted rope tug toy in water, then freeze.  The icy toy will ease the soreness of your pup’s gums.
  • Freeze carrots and let him chew on those for a healthy, soothing chew.
  • Get your puppy a rubber teething toy.  They are designed to help ease the pain of teething,

All of the above tips will help your puppy get through this tough time.  Not to mention, save your favorite shoes!
