Havanese Dog Puppies

Puppies come in all shapes, sizes, and breeds, so what should you consider when thinking buying a puppy for your family? Depending on your family and what type of dog you are looking for havanese dog puppies may be a breed to consider. Some of us prefer large dogs, and some prefer small dogs, but when considering a family pet it is almost always important to make a choice that will work well with children.


Havanese puppies are gentle puppies that grow up to be nice companions. Havanese dogs also do not get very large making it very easy to live with them anywhere. They tend to get very attached to the families that they are a part of, especially the kids in the family. They are very sweet, playful, and also intelligent. They are also known as very social dogs so it is important that your family also have an active lifestyle to keep up with them.

When you are considering a puppy you often think about their trainability. These puppies are easy to work with in obedient training and they get along well with other dogs. This breed is actually known for their ability to be trained. They are very observant puppies so they learn very quickly from both people and other dogs. These dogs are not timid but they are not aggressive either. Much like some other small dogs, they show no fear. In spite of their size they are not cowards.

Havanese puppies are extremely cute. Has they get older they still resemble a puppy as they are only about 8-11 inches tall and anywhere between 7-13 pounds. They make for good house pets at any age because of their size.

These puppies can be purchased from breeders in a variety of colors with black and chocolate being common. Most dogs breed anywhere from 1 to 9 puppies but an average litter is 4 puppies.
