Frontline For Dogs-Actual User Reviews
Okay, okay, we’ve all heard about Frontline and Frontline Plus for dogs. Websites, blogs and even our dog’s vet goes on and on about it’s effectiveness. The only problem with listening to them is that they are trying to sell you something!
About 8 months ago, I had to stop using the highly effective K9Advantix on my dog because it nearly killed my cat. That’s a long story, but just take this from it: If you have a cat or a small child, DO NOT USE K9 Advantix. Just sharing a little bedding (mine) with my dog caused my cat’s organs to start to shut down. Both of them were flea free for months after that, though…Anyway, I had to find a new flea medicine for my dog, Sam. My vet wanted me buy from him, but I buy my pet meds online (much, much cheaper), so while I was there, I did a little research to see what other dog owners were saying about Frontline for dogs.
Here’s what I learned:
On Amazon.com, there are 504 reviews. The average is 4.8 stars out of 5. Wow!
I’ve used this product on every dog I’ve ever owned and have never had a problem with fleas or ticks. I’ve tried other products and flea collars, but nothing else works quite like this.

We switched to Frontline because our dog kept biting her foot when we applied Revolution. We have been using this for a couple of years and have had no problems.

If you live in a heavily wooded area, don’t use the regular frontline. It won’t repel ticks. Instead use frontline plus.

I’m using it on my dog now and VERY satisfied with the results! Two days later and he isn’t itching at all. I combed through his coat and only found a couple of dead fleas.

The consensus seems to be that Frontline is an excellent product, however, if you do have a problem with ticks on your dog, then you should consider upgrading to the Frontline Plus.
