Your Dog’s Vomiting Water? Don’t Panic!

Almost always, if your dog is vomiting his food and water after a meal, it is because he ate too quickly.

  • Try feeding him out of a muffin tin or in small amounts at a time.

If your dog is really vomiting, you’ll see behavior changes.  He will get restless, salivate and seek out grass.  When vomiting, the food will come out with forceful contractions of the stomach (kind of like when people “get sick”).

Call your vet immediately, however, if your dog repeatedly tries to vomit and can’t.
