Finding Time For Dog Exercise


I’ll be the first to admit it:  My dog and I are couch potatoes.  And we have the waistlines to prove it!

Just because I haven’t been motivated to exercise lately doesn’t mean that my dog has to become unhealthy, too.

If you honestly don’t feel like taking your dog out for a nice, long stroll every day, then make sure that he gets at least some form of exercise daily.  Here’s a few ideas:

  • Play a game of fetch.
  • Play tug-of-war for 10 minutes a day.
  • Let friends and family members get your dog “all wound up”.

It’s very important that your dog stays active.  It will lengthen their life span, keep vet bills down, and on and on and on.  Not to mention it probably wouldn’t hurt for you to get off of the couch a little, too!  Now get up and enjoy your dog…
