Dog Collars: Finding The Perfect Fit

Dog collars are probably the most valuable dog accessory there is.  It is extremely important that you find the perfect fit.

Here’s how:

1.  Measure your dog’s neck.  Duh!  If you don’t have a “soft” tape measure, use a string.  Take the string and measure it using a ruler.

2.  Take the measurement to the pet store when buying the collar.  Better yet, take your dog!

3.  When your dog has the collar on, a perfect fit would be one in which you can get 2 fingers between the collar and your pup’s neck.  No more, no less.
