A Dog Cage May Save Your Sanity

Let’s take a look at a couple of scenarios. You get home from work only to find the house or apartment completely destroyed by your new favorite pooch. Or what about this one? You put your dog in the backyard thinking he is going to stay put, only to get a knock on the front door about an hour later from someone saying they have your dog, and he has dug a hole completely through your fence. If you have ever found yourself in one of these situations, before you go and start taking it out on your pup, take a look at your own habits first. Maybe you need to stick that pooch in a dog cage.

Dog cages aren’t cruelty people. Having your dog contained for the day while you go to work is a lifesaver. For both you and your dog. All too often have I heard stories of people going crazy on their animals for destroying a $2,000 dinette set. Remember your dog’s little razor sharp teeth? Yeah, they’re like a woodpecker on crack when they get focused on destroying something of yours, and those little razors are like a piranha’s jaws helping him to desecrate all that was sacred with your dinette set. Even if your pooch is 200lbs, there are large dog cages that are completely suitable.

If space is an issue though, you may want to consider a folding dog cage. You can put your dog into the crate when you leave, and then come home to a peaceful, in tact house, let him loose, and then fold up the cage to put behind the couch for tomorrow. These little things are lifesavers, and if space is tight where you live you may want to consider picking one up.

A wire dog cage is probably the most common and for some people they are a requirement. However, make sure that you have the room for it!

So to sum it up, if you are having issues with your dog destroying things, or leaving you little gifts around the house while your gone, you may want to consider getting at least a collapsible dog cage to help contain him while you’re away.
