Aggression May Equal Pain

If your normally sweet dog suddenly becomes aggressive, chances are it is not a behavior problem.  It is probably because he is in pain.

Does your dog snap when you go to rub his ears?

It could be an ear infection.

Have you ever had a toothache?

Sudden aggression is easily triggered by dental pain.

If your mild-mannered dog becomes aggressive, please see your vet as soon as possible.  Your dog is trying to tell you that he’s hurting.  Please listen.
